General Emulator Discussion / Re: Live Emulator Streams
« on: May 10, 2012, 05:09:00 PM »
I am using both VHScreenCapture to capture the program and Windows Media Encoder to stream  however both aren't available for download on the Internet anymore :( I used install files from 3 years ago and I'm also streaming on a computer with powerful memory and good graphics

And Brian, as for the Airport segment.. that is perfectly fine.. I originally removed it because Tampa wasn't included and Orlando had inaccurate data being reported (it kept saying 46° and Cloudy without changing and we know that isnt possible in April/May lol).. but when I removed it and began running the emulator it appeared that way on the "Up Next" screen however the product never initially showed :dunno:

About the Widespread Panic song discussion from earlier, Javier uploaded a clip from today of the song, and it still has vocals..

Here we go again with everyone being overdramatic.  Let me ask you guys a question: why do you hate vocal music?  It is because it's just not TWC?  Well, TWC hasn't been "itself" in years, so get over it.  One big thing is that the locals and narration are a bad combo, and I'm aware of that.  I just don't understand why everyone is freaking out.  It's not like they got rid of the LOT8s.
Wow, I would have to agree with that.

How do you know it's working?
Believe me, they would have stopped it in February or March if it didnt work..

More new songs have aired, but they're all vocal.

 :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious:

I hope TWC's ratings go down the toilet because of this bull :censored:  music change.
Believe me: they won't. They are attempting to appeal to a younger audience and so far it seems to be working

Wow, best of luck Craig! Many of you guys are lucky.. down here at my area's NWS office (Ruskin/Tampa Bay, FL) you have to be 18 years or older to apply for SKYWARN.. :hammer:

Anyways, I have only had my new pair of glasses for about 3 weeks now, and the screw holding one of the arms came loose.. I tried tightening it, but the screw wouldn't go in any lower.. I'm gonna have to wear my older glasses (the pair I got last April) until the frames are repaired. :hmm:

I apologize if I shouldnt be bumping this topic.. but for those interested for now I have my emulator up on a stream right now :)

mms://zach.dyndns-work.com:24629 (opens in Windows Media Player, VLC or most other media players)

I'll try to leave this on as much as possible, but I cannot guarantee it will run the WxScan emulator 24/7 but for now I think I can have it running constantly

I've never taken a physics class before, or anything similar, but I think I finally understand the Barotropic Vorticity Equation. Took me about an hour of writing out on paper what all the terms mean and what they stand for. Yep, this is what I do in my free time. :noexpression: Nothing wrong with that right?  :dunno:
Believe me, that equation will not be taught to you in a regular or honors Physics course  I'm currently a student of Physics now and we haven't touched it, but it may be in an AP Physics course (not sure on that though)

Everything Else TWC / Re: Blooper Thread

A big TWC logo (not the IS one or national LDL one) appeared by itself before going to the commercials at about 6:25, like it did pre-2010.
What do you mean?
Rememeber how when a segment would start, before the LDL cued, the TWC logo appeared, the logo would appear by itself? That's what it looked.
Hmm, now that images were provided I can tell you for sure its not the same logo  And it was burnt into the graphics as well

Mac, be aware that you posted an image that could auto-update so if you want it to stay the way it is now I would suggest uploading it to imgur, tinypic, or any others
