« on: September 06, 2008, 11:47:36 PM »Too bad I don't have Trammell.I find it astronomically enjoyable to listen to Track 9 (Midnight Rain/The Setting Sun) in absolute darkness...Haha, I thought I was the only one who had that feeling! It is good to listen to in the dark are watching the sunset. It's a nice, calm overnight song.

After some excruciating moments, I am proud to show you all a very special and daunting task that I am working on. With the help of Martin's great donation of the IStar files, I am happy to announce the start of an IntelliStar Weather Information Displayer. This "program", simply an Adobe Flash file, reads local forecast data from the NWS RSS feed and displays it in the format of the current look of the IntelliStar. Currently this program is simply the first slide, and only bits and pieces are completed. I hope to make it more slides (Local Obs, Regional/Metro conditions), and if I can find forecast data, that too. Maybe down the line I can add a customizable feature and release it.
This is NOT a PowerPoint, so no manual data entry is required!
VERY, VERY MUCHO GRANDE IMPORTANT: I will absolutely not take requests or accept PMs, IMs, e-mails, phone calls, text messages, or any communication wanting a custom copy. I'll get to that soon enough. I want it to work for me. Failure to understand this means I will ignore you.

I have been learning to recently use PowerPoint.
I have developed a PowerPoint XL v2 Emulator
It comes complete with the fonts I used, intro from apoecker (with permission), and "Native Tongue" courtesy of this site.
A station ID I made is also included (audio courtesy twcclassics.com).
It even comes with a video I made of it in action.
DISCLAIMER: All weather used in the demo video was made up.
Gary, I will remove this if you don't want me using your songs.
I will also need 4 More Bet Testers to improve transitions and to make a radar screen.
PM Me if you want to be a Beta tester.
And here's my IntelliSTAR Graphic I made in GIMP. LDL Cortesy Billy Miller (beanboy89).
The colon by Dew Point was a typo.

You can use a program such as GIMP.
OK. I do have it on my Vista, but I don't knoiw it's backdoor secrets unlike you and Billy.

« on: September 06, 2008, 11:38:35 AM »Yeah but u have a WAY BETTER TUNER than me. Yours is capable of receiving high quality s-video connections and HDTV. Plus it's not crash prone like mine. But, your Pinnacle application takes a while to load. For me it only took 1 minute to install the application.Than that explains why I have the signiture I have.
