Because of the existing partnership between Accuweather and ABC, it's not getting implemented. Here's the official press entry from Accuweather. What about in areas where an ABC O&O does exist but doesn't carry the channel, like here?According to this Wikipedia article, we're getting the AccuWeather channel this summer on our local FOX affiliate, WHBQ-TV!It's coming to all FOX O&Os where an ABC O&O doesn't already exist.

I wish the user would lower the price. :/The STAR 4000 is just a mere paperweight unless you have an uplink via C/Ku band satellite to TWC's analog feed, since it downloads everything through satellite (including the graphics). So be aware of that before you buy the unit and attempt to operate it.

My local accuweather channel must be high this morning. They were playing Christmas tunes all throughout the night They still are playing Christmas songs....I think April Fool's Day is a little too late? It's Christmas in July!
My prayers and thoughts go out to those affected by this tragedy in Colorado.Yeah, mine too.
Heard "Layla" in a Honda ad.Saw that same ad yesterday.
Any luck with finding a replacement for HamWeather, Martin? I'm guessing there isn't anything readily available. I saw that TWC's website allows anyone to make widgets to add to a website.Right, but in the forum's case, it would need to be done via PHP coding, and unfortunately, it costs $20/month just to use TWC's raw XML data now ever since their "new" API launched.
