That's actually perfectly normal, and ones that only serve one county are rare and usually seen in the middle of a large county. The most programmed counties are usually seen around areas with numerous county boundaries in a short area..

(either that, or it's the fact that I live in an area with 4 counties in a small area.)
Do u live in Georgia? I ask that because Georgia has a lot of small counties.
His location is in his profile...

IRIX and BSD are both UNIX-based operating systems, and specifically, IRIX powers the Weather STAR XL.

I say Athens.

Webster or Roget?

Being in Florida, it's fairly impossible to get temperatures into the triple-digits; the highest I've seen this year (and it wasn't summer yet!), was 99°F (rounding up from 98.6°F) at about 5 PM on May 25, 2012. Mind you, this report was at KVDF where temps can get hotter inland than by the coast in the afternoon, but that same day, KTPA (Tampa International Airport), broke a record high at 96°F.

Now if only they used the evening 2008 sponsor teaser music. :bleh:
And also bring back the 03-05 Weather Center music for the Local on the 8s sponsor screen. :P
Or even the Closed Captioning bumper with the 05-08 WO music.. :hmm: Speaking of that bumper, I saw it a few times last year at :49 past and it used the same music as the current LOT8s sponsor screen.

I would check and see that there aren't multiple warnings being issued because there are IntelliStars that do serve more than one county around its viewing area.

That's part of it, there were also flash flood warnings but late last night (Between midnight and 7 am), my area was hit hard, a lot of the things I described im my opening post in this thread seemed to be the case.
Okay, but that's totally normal..  When a warning scrolls, there is no priority for those, and they display in the order in which they are issued and run for as long as they need to

If that isn't the case, then report the problem to STAR tech support.

Just an FYI, but if your cable provider (both satellite providers carry it) carries the NBC Sports channel, the Olympics are live there!

Hmm, that seller who had the 4000 on eBay now apparently has two of them, but they are certainly overpriced..

Also, I notice that the headend ID label is missing from it. Is this a decommissioned unit?
