Wasn't it like this back then though when preemptions occurred? Why doesn't TWC show local on the 8s during preemptions anymore? All they show is a one minute forecast at the top and bottom of the hour.If I recall it has something to do with the fact they schedule LFs ahead of time so when it comes time to preemptions they have to cancel out the programming schedule and automatic lfs. Its just easier for them I guess

Right, but a modified version. They are just using the 25th anniversary themeThey all have, but the other shows are not really using it yet. Weather Center and YWT seem to be the only ones really utilizing it.And PME. Unless they still use the 2008 one at times.
Heard two tunes from the WC classic years recently: "The Gift" by 3rd Force and "Rainbow Seeker" by Joe Sample. Both have been recycled into the locals occasionally for years. "The Gift" brings back memories of the 1994 summer season when 3rd Forces' self titled debut CD was played heavily. In fact, every song on it was used. That doesn't happen too often. "Rainbow Seeker" dates back to at least 1988.
Rainbow Seeker cam out in 1977. I remember it played in June 2008. I haven't heard The Gift, though. Maybe if I search the Internet for it and listen to it (if I can find it), I might recognize it.

I have heard Rockit during the old school mix on Saturday nights on WTMP 96.1 FM/1150 AM.Wow, I can't even pick up 96.1 out here, and I have picked up static on that station before.
I have heard Rockit a million times on oldies stations.Really? I would expect WRBQ to play it on their "disco party nights", but haven't heard it.
I don't have a job either, but I hope to be getting some community service hours helping out at our school's 8th Grade Intro program!!Omfg why is it that everyone except me, is working??
You're not the only one that doesn't have a job. Keep that in mind.
