Another thing about going all HD and killing SD is that there's lack of bandwidth. From what I understand, an OTA station can only have one HD subchannel, usually consisting of the main broadcast.

In fact most people I know/knew in school hate meteorology and wish they didn't have to learn the aspects of it in some science courses
