Yeah, Tampa has had a pretty intense winter this year (although 2010 was still more intense).. I actually enjoy it (usually i sweat my off for 10 months of the year )

Yes, the local on the 8s FB page is run by me... if you look at the wall posts, you can see the impatience of one person who gets really frustrated of not having LOT8s in HD thats local... personally if i had cable and wanted local weather, Id watch the SD 'cast

Honestly, this imo seems to be a step above their production post-2008 meltdown.. how can a data outage from hours prior prevent lower thirds from cuing? the LDL not cuing i can understand

I find it awkward that TWC's LDL has been up and down all day, Hirad outages, and now I haven't seen a Lower Third graphic in over an hour. I like the new HD radar though.

What new HD radar?

EDIT: I see it now... that seems to just be a radar source from Intellicast, parent company to TWC.

Nice! I noticed that the maps are shifted more towards northern Illionois/Southern Wisconsin.

Its the same regional map as his Mattoon XL...
