It's sad how much education seems to have degraded these days when I hear you all describe how high school is like now.   No wonder the best and highest-paying jobs in the United States are lately being taken by people from other countries.  We seriously need to bring education back to the forefront.

It's a shame too these days, that teachers only care about their salaries.

Nowhere did he say teachers only cared about their salaries. He said that our society is becoming loose that teachers from America are becoming less and less of a job opportunity.

. Another thing that makes me upset is that the classes often teach students "to the test". The purpose for us to attend school is to learn. Should what we learn during 4 years in high school be wasted on a 4 hour SAT or ACT exam? We should be learning for the sake of knowledge, not test-taking.

Tests are made for students so they can confirm that the content they teach is being sent out.

The LDLs (for both SD and HD) are all screwed up right now. I think they are showing current conditions from sometime last night (because it is NOT 27 and mostly clear here right now), and Friday's forecast (with no high) is showing.

Thats IMO why i think running LDLs VIZ|RT is a bad idea

The use of Vizrt had nothing to do with it. The issue all had to deal witha  network failure within TWC.

Quite a coincidence then because of what the HD LF last Wednesday did and recently a lot of Vizrt products have been aliased in texture and design.. (noticeable on the HD feed mostly)

we'll have some fun from people visiting us and thinking it's Celsius.

Anything warmer than 40°F would be unbearable in Celsius, if not impossible to live in.

Im sorry, but i dont understand what you mean.. if you mean 40° centigrade instead of 40° farenheit i can understand.. if its unbearable at 40°F then how do i survive? the average monthly temp for all 12 months down here will always be above 40°F

Fox news is on my schools system, but TWC isnt.. at my middle school they had TWC on theirs until my 8th grade year when the lineup was all changed up for the Obama inauguration and was never changed back afterward

That is what this unit is, the IS2 Alpha. Isn't it basically the national feed?

First off, that is not the IS2.. second off, where on earth did you get the idea that this was an IS2 alpha? And finally, that is the feed any receiver without an IS2 would see.
