have a good time! I was actually getting onto I-75 from Exit #257 just this past Friday night after shopping in Brandon 
unfortunately though we had to make a turn around to go home because the EB side of SR-60 had its NB I-75 ramp closed >.<
hopefully you can have some better help in college though.. whether its professors or friends or other pupils in general

That has absolutely nothing to do with the headend upgrading their equipment.I've heard of cable systems using a more distant STAR in case of failure of the local one, but I don't think I've ever heard of a headend keeping a second, more obsolete, STAR as a backup in case the primary one fails! Very interesting!(possibly an upgrade due to jump of subscribers?)
