as for setup, its not hard at all.. you would have to connect the component video cables to the STB from the HD PVR and if you have to use component video for an HD signal (like i do since my TV doesnt have HDMI), you can output the picture to your TV set thats being received into the PVR and its the same signal sent to the computer

You guys are overacting way too much here, and let's calm down the language as well. What if TWC was just testing a new concept during extended coverage for highly significant weather moments? If a major hurricane is about to make landfall or there's an incredible amount of severe weather going on at once, this isn't a bad mode to have ready. TWC is supposed to do live weather first when things are very active.I agree. I remember once earlier this year, they halted an LF for severe weather coverage once a tornado warning got issued, but I can see why they are making moves like this.. when that LF I speak of was halted, only satellite viewers or viewers with no STAR got to see it, as the STARs continued to finish up their cycles.

BAMS, to be specific, has a landfall in Manatee county.. which based on its path, could strengthen it due to only making a landfall at the western tip of Cuba, then a Manatee county landfall..
