Hey guys! I have been lovingly watching these past few days but lurking since I didn't have too much time. I've been busy with mid-terms, doctor appointments, projects, Irene cleanup/fixing (STILL!!!) and more. I found out I had a back injury from swimming years ago that has gotten worse so I am going to a chiropractor multiple times a week for it. Not a big deal but time consuming.I thought i couldve sworn i saw you lumping on your back a little when we met at the Botanical gardens... jk
One exciting thing for me anyways is that I leave tomorrow to go to the National Weather Association Conference in Birmingham, AL until Tuesday. Looking forward to being with a whole bunch of weather geeks
Are you sure that Islip isn't just your backup reporting station? I find it wasteful to buy an IS2 only to have it merged with another one months later...His IS originally reported from Islip, so it would make sense to use an Islip IS2 rather than Farmingdale, which is rather far from Islip..
That has nothing to do with age. I would also double-check and see if your IS2 is out (ie no ID, no LF but national, and no local LDL), because based on a lot of posts as of late, IS2s nationwide seem to be out.So is everybody's IS2 out?No, but the newer ones tend to have more deficiencies than the old ones.
