I would at least hope that we/TWC are wrong indeed if that's the case.. because it could just be a similar incident to the "Pleasant Days" one.

However, I'm not sure if this is the case, but the official TWC playlist had the incorrect song/artist with "Pleasant Days"..

Wow, so apparently separate flavors still do exist on the IntelliStar. I caught an LF this morning with CC screen narration and no marine forecast, then another without CC narration and a marine forecast

Why can't they bring back New Divide by Linkin Park or Railroad Cancellation by Don Caballero? Those were great songs from last year, IMO..

As was every other song in the January/February 2012 playlist you didn't mention

I don't like how simplistic the radar looks though, it just looks bland and not as good as the radar on the Intellistar

As much as I disliked the XL (other than the obvious advance in graphics and information over the 4000), I have to say that the first version XL had the best-looking radar on any Star I've seen.  I just loved the texture.

For the record, aside from a different basemap in the v1 era (and using only 10 frames instead of 30), the XL's radar has pretty much remained unchanged throughout its lifetime.

And Victor, I really don't think the radar is going to look like that. Remember that this is completely a mockup, so things are bound to change.

It would make sense to have the LDL's scroll during the commercials because they show relevant weather information the current 60 second locals don't.

Maybe that's not part of the deal with advertisers, if they have any say in the matter.  I'm sure advertisers would prefer to have their commercials playing without anything else on the screen to detract attention from them - emergency weather bulletins notwithstanding.

In that case, the best TWC could do is just windowbox the advertisements, which is what ESPN and ESPN2 so that they can keep the bottom line turned on and commercials aren't covered up in any way.

Hello everyone, just wanted to say I have decided to make my presence known around here again.. a little someone I talked to yesterday convinced me to return to this place

I am doing better now that August and September (both depressing months for me) have come and gone.. and I forgot to mention this, but I am a moderator at a large forum now (although in a small section of the forum) but I still have other duties to perform as a member of the forum's staff.

Wow, what a really great find!  Has the song just been misidentified for 14 years or what?

Also, for the record, there are comments on the two videos of the song on Youtube that suggested the name of the song.
