79° and Fair.

It has been a brutally windy and hot day across Florida today. Attached below are three cities I chose conditions from my CC screen. Vandenberg is what the report is from, showing the wind. I included Ft. Pierce, FL for the temperature and finally, Daytona Beach because of the wind gust.

UPN and the WB are still broadcasting.
Of course they are! So much that they replaced the CW and MyNetworkTV in 2006!

Is it really $5.00 in parts of California?

Yes it is. http://californiagasprices.com/

In Orlando, a lot of gouging is going on with prices exceeding $5.00/gallon almost up to $6.00/gallon :o

In the Tampa area:
Lowest: $3.53 (in Tampa)
Highest: $4.35 (in Brandon)

Severe Weather / Re: Severe Weather Season 2012

I was just looking at that. It could be a blanket warning (issued way in advance), or somebody really screwed up. The NWS in Morristown really hasn't specified just yet.
I'm under the speculation that an untrained forecaster issued that warning.. it wasn't signed, it expired with areas not getting rain at all, it included 30 counties (3x the recommended!), and it took them 9 minutes to execute actions?
