The IntelliSTAR in Astoria, OR isn't showing the marine forecast product and instead skips directly from the air quality forecast to the tides forecast, and the blue LDL and the sponsorship bug (The Facebook/Twitter and others) are running over the satellite LF for the last few seconds (picture shown on attachment.) Anyone else with coastal STARs experiencing this glitch?Whenever that happens, it usually is a local issue.. and the coastal products were fine on 24629
TWC celebrates their 30th anniversary with Vocal musicThey did with their 25th Anniversary as well.
Anyways, while I was driving in traffic today in driver's ed, I heard "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol on WMTX 100.7Now I'm hearing it on MAX 98.3 FM
The text on the bottom of the Week Ahead screen was updated for the redesign:What redesign?
You missed GTAIVman's postAm I the only one not seeing a 30-year design on weather.com?
Zach, what 30-year design are you talking about? From my understanding, the new design was supposed to launch today in honor of their 30th anniversary, but I don't recall there being plans for a 30-year design, whatever that means.
I really like the new 30-year anniversary design on weather.com. Very neat and great site architecture. It's very organized. Good job TWC
You completely overlooked this topic because that's a site redesign and has nothing to do with the 30th anniversaryAm I the only one not seeing a 30-year design on weather.com?
The homepage might not be as noticeable when you're looking for the new design. Type your zip code in the search bar and you should see it.
Sorry, but since when are we not allowed to make our own opinions? I said I do not care for it. I'm glad for TWC to continue their 30 years in operation. It's just that they've gone so downhill, that many of us are not into their current state anymoreI kinda have to agree with Tavores.. while you are entitled for an opinion, its the factor that you said it in a condescending tone and gives no contribution to the topic.
They must have preempted at 5 and 6 PM for storm coverage.. if you're gonna preempt those two hours, then preempt all night for petes sake"Crystal Egger

Heading into hour #4 now - continuing coverage on TWC of severe weather (possible tornadoes) in MN, IL, IN, OH, KY & NC! Be safe everyone...it's gonna be a long night!"
They are done with storm coverage at 8pm and not back till 10pm ET. This is getting embarrassing.
If there are tornadoes on the ground they should provide live coverage.
What "continuing coverage" and hour #4 is she talking about?!?! Right now, Turbine Cowboys is on, and I surprisingly saw the tail end of Weather Caught on Camera at 7:58 CT, which is odd because weather.com advertises that WCL was supposed to be on then.
No, Nat Geo decided to give up airing the show and TWC took overThe episode had a © date of 2008 and checking wiki the show started broadcasting in Canada November 18, 2009.
Season 1 of Ice Pilots began airing on the National Geographic Channel in the US on April 22, 2011.
This show is from a Canadian production company and TWC simply bought the rights to broadcast it in the USA after the contract was up for renewal.
So for TWC to call this a new show or the episodes airing from season one new is incorrect.
If seasons 2-3 have not aired in the USA then they are new when they are broadcast.
So National Geographic Channel no longer airs the show because of TWC? If so, that is pathetic because the show belongs on National Geographic Channel not The WEATHER Channel.
