your configuration works great for me. if you would to set up a time we could use teamviewer, i could assist you in getting the emulator working.

What is your ID, i want to see if your configuration is set up correctly.

this is really good for friday evenings. its a change-up from the traditional. although i would expect coverage of storms when the time comes, but for fridays when its quiet outside, the forecast sounds right with movies!

this is a really weird topic. in order to get what you want, you need 3 things:
1. Means - the money, the gear, the tools, the brains, and yet more money.
2. Motive - the driving force to complete the goal.
3. Capacity - the understanding of what is needed to complete the goal.

this goes for anything in life.. getting a car, getting job, buying a house, going to college..

IMO, focus on your life, not a weatherstar.. its not going to get you anywhere.

ok, this is what i want you to do.. download the update from the CINE server. replace the two executables then follow the instructions at the top of this thread. at that point, let us know if that works.

i should add this as a note.. goto the 'review configuration' inside CINE, then 'Build Configuration'.. it should add it at this point.

Still having the same error 0x004025AC

maybe it's something with my computer :(

If you can, please take a picture of the emulator when that message appears, trying to capture the message and
the loading text inside the emulator itself. Also, what is your ID?
Thanks

Help and Support / Windows 7/Vista/XP installation issues resolved.
« on: March 17, 2010, 10:35:53 AM »
While it has been awhile since I have installed the emulator on a fresh computer, I decided to try it on a fresh Win7 install.
The notes outlining pertain to ALL installations.
Since late December, I lost one of my hosts due to drive failure, and didn't remember that the emulator downloaded an overlay from that host, which should have been pointed to the CINE server instead. This file is usually requested when it doesn't exist in the 'main' sub-directory, such as a fresh install.

After successful installation, and manually replacing the two files from the June '09 update, take this attached file "satradoverlay.png" and place it into C:\wsxl\main\
Ofcourse, after that, set your ID, then run the emulator.
While Vista seems to be the most problematic OS to work around with security, Win7 was a breeze, with no "run as administrator" requirements.
Please leave your notes below saying if this helped.
