Programming and Graphics / Re: i heard a rumor that twc has quit Storm Alert for hurricanes
« on: September 02, 2010, 03:10:24 AM »
if any day will be a good day to roll out the storm alert tracks, that would be today. the music does have that "impending doom" feel to it, so if they wanted their audience to react accordingly (with Earl) they should play something a little more elevated.
my two cents!

Local Forecast / Re: 39 of Trammell Starks' Songs Located

Trevor,
I would be 100% sure that Martin would be pleased if you would upload this particular track. This has been a track that has even been lost by Trammell himself. Everyone would thank you for contribution to fill that hole in their collection.

General Emulator Discussion / Re: Problem?
« on: August 26, 2010, 05:37:39 PM »
I can't remember if I mentioned this before, but when the executable is packed for security, an anti-virus program MAY flag the executable BECAUSE people who do create malicious viruses MAY compress their virus the same way I compress the executable for copy protection. The reasoning behind that is if someone malicious compresses their known malicious code, the antivirus program may not flag the executable as a virus. I assume your anti-virus program is keeping you aware of something behind-the-scenes that may be malicious, however with Weatherscan XL you should not have to worry about anything. All operations that Weatherscan perform is all contained within its directory.
Enjoy!

OCMs & Personalities / Re: New OCM- Bryan Norcross
« on: August 22, 2010, 09:39:10 AM »
in regards to having 2 hurricane specialists.. Dr Knabb starts his shift early in the morning. i would like to believe that Norcross starts later in the day to continue any conducive coverage. if there are any big storms out there, the shift would be very very long for just one person. i hope you wouldnt like to come in at 3am and stay until 7pm
another side note, in regards to the hiring/firing/laying off, theres an old quote: its nothing personal, its business.
