I wish I didn't see this topic, now I'm looking everywhere for a survey!  <_<

I suppose you're right there, But I'm not prepared to learn mono at this time. Especially as I'm busy coding my own emulator in VB right now.

Here's the weather bulletin page.

I'm currently working on a radar slide, but won't be implementing any radar feed into it yet

The best way of doing this is to make weather data import into powerpoint as you can pre-configure the animations

Well that was a stressful couple of hours...
I was getting some nasty errors and almost gave up on the project entirely, but luckily I fixed it.
Apart from fixing this bug I also added in the weather bulletin slide, I'll get some pictures soon!

TWC Fan Art / Re: TWCJim's Artwork

Fun fact...

Jessica was the music that played during my first, and only ever, local forecast in Tampa, FL. It also happens to be the theme tune to my favorite TV program.

Nice Artwork, Love the Question for the LOT8's, It's something that TWC should add to the greetings list...

Ok, here is a slightly glitched out picture of the second slide, I'll try and fix it before a public release :)

Emulator Videos / Re: IntelliSTAR "All the Time" Emulator

Sorry for bumping, but I've had an Idea. If we use VB we might be able to use macros and change the powerpoint text boxes. An Intellistar is a nightmare for emulating, as it's full of animations.

OK, I've started the second slide of the emulator now, but progress has been hampered as Yahoo Weather doesn't know what's going on in any part of my region right now... Oh well

If you wouldn't mind letting me have a look at those files, I may be able to do something with them.

Thats the problem, the intellistar 2 is full of animations, which would be difficult to recreate in Visual Basic

Pictures speak a thousand words, although a video speaks a million, so here you go. A quick video showing the current state of the BoyerSTAR :)

I should probably say I sort of back.
The problem with me is I get distracted to other things and so wander away from many forums. I'm going to try and stay a little longer this time :)
