Mine is stuck on PT too.

« on: March 16, 2010, 04:47:40 PM »Yeah, I'm noticing a clock on the lower left hand corner of my LDL (bigger one at the moment). But it's so far down there that my TV cuts half of it off. I also notice it cycles through the 4 main time zones, oddly enough.Thanks for the screenshots. The clock is on the actual national LDL feed. It's in the "window" area of the local LDL, which was originally meant for placement of the ad. Good to see that TWC is using that blank space somewhat productively.

I just noticed the switch of forecast data on the national LDL. At about 3:41 PM ET, the forecast temperature data for Tuesday was missing, but Wednesday was still present. And then at about 3:42, the LDL froze on Sacramento for about a minute. When it finally got moving again, the forecast for Wednesday and Thursday was showing.
I don't know what or where the national LDL is getting it's data from. I had thought it was running on Viz, but now I'm not too sure, because it wasn't showing the customary "-" for missing data.

The local LDL never cued for long-form at 2 PM ET, so I'm currently seeing the small version of the national LDL.
I find it strange that the national LDL has a different TWC logo. There's no shadow, no mirrored logo, and the weather.com font is not Interstate.

Tonight on NBC Nightly News, they showed two TWC weather graphics of the impending northeast rain storm. One of Titan HD of a radar/satellite, and another of Viz with the estimated rainfall totals. Looked neat finally seeing TWC's graphics in their full HD glory.

Dust didn't exist in the 2006-2010 set, so I highly doubt it will be on this set.
Martin or Aaron- Did you happen to get that video of Stephanie showing the XL icons?
Actually it did, it also doubled as a "Smoke Icon".
I though this was smoke
Icon 22 (the one Michael posted) is Smoke. Icon 21 (the one Martin posted) is Haze.
