Wasn't Dr. Knabb one of the NHC meteorologists who wrote the advisories? I seem to remember seeing his name at the bottom of many of them.

Yeah, I believe he was one of the meteorologists who wrote advisories. Here's one of the advisories he wrote back in 2007.

Too bad I can't have the option of actually setting it to an airport's observations (which are what can actually be called observations). For now, I have my location set to "n/a".

What are you talking about? As far as I can tell, the observations ARE coming from an airport.

How can I set it up? I don't see an option for it in the profile preferences.

Its based on your location. There were a lot of NA conditions a few min ago because I had to purchase an extended database. Billy just set your location. Right now you just have Pennsylvania in yours.

Same applies to everyone. Just enter your location. To do this go to Profile -> Modify Profile -> Forum Profile

I don't get it... what am I supposed to be looking for?

The LDA is on, but the feed is still 16:9 behind it, not squeezed into 4:3, like what's supposed to happen when the LDA is on.

I'm planning on taking Flash classes next year. I heard feedback from some of my friends that Flash is very easy. I hope to give it a try, just like how I got my hands on with graphic design.

I am curious what is going to happen to flash. HTML5 is taking over video content and interactive material is decreasing significantly as ads and other content are not supported on some popular devices and brands. Flash is also extremely resource buggy and crashes all the time, for me anyway.  Adobe really needs to step up to the plate if the want to hope to succeed in the future. Their upcoming release is looking promising.  A step in the right direction

I'm still waiting for Adobe to release a 64-bit Flash plugin for Windows. It's been years now...

It's not basic mode. It's on the Power Saver power setting, so transparency is turned off. It's Aero without glass.
