Hey Gary - I see you've joined TVNewsTalk.net. How did you discover it? To be honest, it's a great site - except for the member cfif. What a mother![]()
he is - huh? Take a look at my graphics thread there. He's insulted me quite a few times. I hate that
hole, with a passion. 8)
Billy, I'm going to need the pictures that go with the guide. Otherwise, the guide won't be having any pictures!8)
I know for a fact that that History Channel ad I saw on TWC was inserted by the cable company because it listed the channel number for the History Channel on the ad.That's much different, and also notdone by the cable company. In fact, its quite common to see promos for channels aired on channels other than the channel being promoted.I've seen it before. I once saw a local advertisement for a show on The History Channel on TWC.LOL. That only means that both of you are likely wrong. What do you know?j/k I believe I saw a tail end of another commercial at the end of that Weekend View promo (which I notice almost always happens on cable company aired commercials), so I still believe it was aired by my cable company.
IF it was aired by your cable company, it was in error. I know cable co.operations inside and out. They do not run advertisments for channels they carrry. Think about that last sentence. Doesn't it make sense that they wouldn't do that?

At 5:47 PM CT, my cable company aired an old Weekend View promo (I can tell because the video quality is not as good and the audio was lower). This promo, included Stephanie Abrams in it. Don't know why their airing it, because Stephanie is no longer on Weekend View. :-\Well local commercials do air on TWC at :17 and :47 past the hour, so I'd say it was a commercial from the cable company. Not too long ago, my cable company aired an old Storm Stories commercial which still had the old 8:00 PM ET time on it.
I can get it finished tonight.I'm sure there's plenty of videos on YouTube that you could take some screenshots from if you need screencaps for any of the IS flavors. It's not so much the screenshots I'm concerned about, I can get those easily. I'm more concerned about the actual flavor lineups. The order of the screens and such. There are at least two different lineups per flavor depending on whether there is precipitation present or not. I'll have to investigate all my IS videos to get the correct lineups and times of day each play.
I'm confused now, because this has nothing to do (it seems) with the problem you just told me about a short time ago. But anyway, can you tell me how long its gonna take to get it done? If its not going to be today then I'll have to proceed with today's update without the Flavor Guide.

How are things progressing Billy?Well, I've got the one minute and minute thirty second flavor lineups complete, but I still have a few of the two minute flavors to complete. Plus, I don't have any of the flavors with the traffic pages, because I don't have Traffic Pulse.
Maybe the file size was too big to be supported by ImageShack. Or maybe the PNG was corrupt...Hmm, I just uploaded a PNG to ImageShack, and it worked fine.Strange. When I uploaded my desktop as a PNG, it said the format was unsupported.
but I had to save it as a JPEG file because apparently ImageShack no longer supports uploading PNG images.
