Well, I finally got my laptop with a fresh install of Vista, and found all the required drivers. Now time to install the software I want to use, and not HP's.

What kind of HP did you order?  My HP came preloaded with Vista (and all the other crap).   Has a 100 gig hard drive, and 30 is used up.  I don't feel like reformatting the whole thing.  Frankly, if it isn't broken, I'm not going to fix it.

Almost the exact same situation here. Got a 120 GB HDD, 10 GB of it is a recovery partition, and with all the crapware they loaded, I had 77 GB free of a total 120 GB drive.

I got off work at 3PM today, and right as I was changing out of my work cloths, I realized that I still had the key to the electric cart pusher in my pocket, so I had to drive back to work and return the key. >.<

Yeah, HP loads on a TON of garbage onto the computers. Who ever actually uses that stuff anyway?

I don't, with the exception of maybe Microsoft Office. I'm probably just going to end reformatting and reinstalling Windows.

BTW, the amount of pre-loaded software HP loaded in thing is unreal. It's gonna take me hours to remove it all.
