How come there is no narration on the IS during primetime hours? The XL retains the narration.

It's a product of the May 7, 2007 vocal music blunder.

I don't need satellite to get those taped. The intellistar loses narration at 5:00 (in 5 minutes). However, I only have them taped during K flavors.

A Heat Advisory was just issued, and I caught the crawl on Weatherscan. How's the quality? It is going to have to be either low quality and small file size, or high quality and huge file size. I can't seem to find a happy medium.

Could you possibly post that in a better quality? The text sometimes gets blurry and is hard to see.

Sorry not for that video. Movie Maker compressed it too much. I lost the raw MPEG file for it so I can't get it at any better quality. Next Weatherscan video I post (which will be very shortly) will be better quality.

The fire alarm just went off in my dorm. It was around 10:40 and I was sitting at my computer, and I hear this loud buzzing or something... I figure it is probably the fire alarm, so I leave my room and close the door. I meet everyone else outside, and some vans from the university come, and the police arrive. About 10 minutes later, we are allowed to come in. I go by my room to see the door hanging open, and there is a guy there waiting for me. He says the alarm was triggered in my room. So they had to reset the alarm in my room, then they had to replace the smoke detector. Apparently, the detector in my room had gone bad, so they gave me the old one after they installed the new one.

Hey everyone. It's been a while since I've been online. To make a very long story short, my college has some IMO stupid security measures built into the network, and you have to install some special software to access the network. My computer's OS was not compatible with that software, so I was not able to get online. I took my PC to the IT staff to work on it on Tuesday, and I still haven't gotten it back. Right now, my roommate is letting me use his computer.

Is there another STAR at your college?

The IntelliStar. There is no actual college cable system. They have Comcast.
