OCMs & Personalities / Re: Cheryl Lemke
« on: January 27, 2008, 12:12:01 AM »
I think my days of watching TWC are over (sigh) - Cheryl seems to have been banished (dammit! I'll miss her), and Dr Cullen isn't interested in objectivity (http://blogcritics.org/archives/2007/01/25/192645.php) - isn't that supposed to be the basis of any scientific study?   Ironically, John Coleman thought differently about the subject (http://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/noel-sheppard/2007/11/07/weather-channel-founder-global-warming-greatest-scam-history).   Personally I think the greatest threat to mankind today is cilantro (seems to be creeping into everything I try at restaurants these days)

Huh?

What do you mean that Cheryl seems to have been "banished?" She's on TWC right now.

So OpenOffice is the same as Power Point?
It's not the same exact thing, but it is similar and will allow you to edit PowerPoint presentations.

Is there any program that can let me have Power Point for free? I only get a trial version which has expired.

I also like to get a free download of Photoshop and After Effects but Matt said they usually contain viruses/slow down the computer

No and no. There are no "free" versions of either program. They are both commercial software and cost money.

But, there are some free and open-source alternatives to these programs: Open Office and The GIMP, respectively.

There is also no July 04 playlist. Again, any help is appreciated.
The July 2004 playlist is posted here: https://twctodayforums.com/forums/index.php/topic,428.msg20292.html#msg20292

Speaking of the channel number on the station ID, my IntelliStar in Hanover hasn't shown the channel number since at least mid-December.

I just figured out that my one of my favorite songs on this month's daytime playlist is unavailable... "A Bright Future" by CC Gilmore. Maybe Kyle can play it on his channel.  :ninja: :whistling:

Do you have a clip of it? I want to find it on manpower music.

You have a clip on your page...

Cut and paste?
In this context, cut and paste is essentially the same as copy and paste.
