satellite.

I have an S-video output and a satellite receievr box
You have to options here. If your tuner has an S-video input, use that. If not, then use the coaxial out from the receiver to the coaxial in on the tuner.

Also, I forgot to ask... what is the brand and model of the tuner?

i am almost certain i will be getting the same problem. First the channels usually aren't recognized and if the channels are recognized, they are spanish language locl channels with poor sound and picture quality.
What kind of input source are you using? Cable, satellite, antenna?

can Firedog from CircuitCity help install my tuner?
They should be able to, but it will surely cost a fairly large amount of money.
How much is the average cost and is there any other service i could use to have my tuner up and running?
What is exactly wrong with your tuner, again? Because if we know what the problem is, we can help you get it installed for no cost.

If you don't want to use IE your old Mac, the latest version of Mozilla that will run is Mozilla 1.3.1 WaMCom, and the latest version of Opera that will run is 6.03.

Alright, the Mac has 96MB of built in memory and 97MB virtual memory. That means I can upgrade the OS right?

Correct. You can upgrade it to 9.0 or 9.1 - 9.2 is NOT supported on that Mac.

Actually, you may be able to run OS X on that Mac with the help of XPostFacto. They have a chart which details which OS X versions can run on certain Mac models. Right now the 6500 is unsupported, but they say they're working on it. ;)

Nice buy, Gary. How much RAM does it have? If you have enough, you could probably get OS 9.x running.  :sunglasses:

OK I told this to Kyle on AIM, and he said it warrants a forum post. So here goes...

I bought two bottles of "Life Water" earlier. It's basically flavored water. Anyway, they were sitting in a bag on top my dresser (about 4' off the  ground). The bag somehow fell off the dresser and when it hit the floor, one of the bottle's caps busted off creating quite a mess. About three quarters of the water came out of the one bottle and landed in the bag. Then when I tried to mop up the mess with a paper towel some of the liquid leaked out of the bag onto the carpet. It was quite a mess, but could've been worse.

I think something is wrong with my intellistar. The blue text that says "Currently" on the LDL has turned red!
Is your area currently under a Severe Thunderstorm or Tornado Watch?

Edit: Just checked, and your area is indeed under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch, therefore the Currently text should turn yellow (not red). ;)
