Can a local PC Repair shop fix a tv tuner?
It depends, I think they should since its a PC utility...
Can it be in-home installation?
Depending on if they offer that service. You're using a laptop, right? Then it shouldn't be difficult for you to bring it to their shop.

When something with our computers goes so wrong, and I can't figure it out, I take the computer into a local PC repair shop. Their rates seem to be really inexpensive, I think around $45 an hour, but both times we went to them, it took them only 15 minutes to do their work, so they charged only $11.25.

Gary, are you going to update the first LOT48s page with all the videos I sent your way?

Billy, did you ever find out if you had any of the videos from the second LAT48's?
I think I might have one or two...but they're on my other PC.

My desktop computer suddenly decided to not come on this morning. And no, it doesn't have anything to do with the storms in our area last night, because I had it unplugged all night. Now, tihs morning, when I press the power button, nothing at all happens. But, what is now happening is the power light in front of the computer is blinking for a split second constantly, and the same thing is happening to the power light in the back of the machine. Anybody know what's wrong, and how to fix it? Thanks in advance. B)
Seems like a dead or nearly dead power supply.

Is there a name for the computer that shows the satellite LF?
I believe it's run by a computer with WSI software, but I don't know if it has an "official" name.

Is there an OS 10?
Yes. But it's called "OS X" because "X" is the Roman numeral for 10.

I have no idea when this playlist ends but i'll have to find alternative sources of recording the lf music FAST
Record the music to your computer. If your TV or receiver has a line out or headphone jack, and your computer has a line in or microphone jack, you can get a stereo mini cable and record the audio on your PC.

The file I downloaded was a .toast.
Haha! Sorry but, .toast?! That made me burst out laughing..

Is there anything special that needs to be done with those?
[chessy joke]Take it out of the toaster? [/chessy joke]
its cheesy not chessy :P
Toasted cheese is cheesy. :P

A .toast file is a file for a CD image made by the OS X-only program Roxio Toast. You'll need something to convert the .toast file to a file format compatible with Windows-based CD burning applications.

Question: How do you burn a CD on the PC so that it can be booted from on the Mac?
It should be as simple as burning an ISO or IMG flie to a CD-R.

WinTV HVR 950
That tuner only has a coaxial input. So simply get a coax cable to connect the receiver to the tuner.
