...and based on the language in that article, I wonder if the "Yeah, let's do that" show might go HD at the same time. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I certainly hope so. Although, unfortunately it seems that EEWC normally takes a back seat to the "regular" EE.

When I Google "Gilcorp" the first result is from Chicago. Are you sure you haven't already started the company?

But seriously, that is an amazing video, Kyle. I can really tell you put a lot of time into those two hockey pucks (wait, you mentioned this already, didn't you? ). But I think that is a great piece of work to leave on.

Anyone know why some cable channels seem to be so fuzzy? It seems just to be the channels at the beginning (2-~20) and channels at the end (~60-77). The ones in the middle are just fine. I've checked all the connections between the wall jack and my TV, and they're all tight. What can I do to fix this?

If they were to implement different backgrounds for different times of day, the best thing they could do is just use the sunrise and sunset times from the Almanac.

EE isn't what it used to be though. Now you've got Steele wearing jewelry that could single handedly bring down the whole studio, Cantore got sucked into the whole eye candy by TWC, and well Goodloe is still cool. I liked the days where Cantore was practically a one man circus on that show.

What has changed about Jim Cantore? I don't think he has changed (with the exception of his hair), at least since I started watching TWC in the late 90s.

He has gotten glasses in recent years.

I wanted it to have an XL appearance or have an nighttime background

from 5am to 8pm the IS has the daytime background
and from 8pm to 5am it would have a dark, background with a picture of the moon

and there is a problem with that...wanna guess?
