Where did you all ever get the idea that that song might be in the loop? It hasn't been heard in eyars, and now all the sudden something makes you think it may be in the loop?

Maybe I'm missing something?
Well, if TWC still has all the original Trammell CDs from 1995, chances are, the song may still be somewhere floating around TWC studios. For all we know, Brian may very well have picked that song for the loop. There is a 50% chance of it.

At 11:02 PM ET, Rich tried to show a map of the actual highs for the Midwest, and most of the cities were just displaying a "--".

Has anyone heard After The Rain yet? I'm wondering if it's in the 20-track lineup.
No, I haven't yet heard it. I've asked Brian Picard if he could provide a list of the songs in the loop.
That would be awesome! If he sends it to you, could you please post it? :)
Yep.

I saw no maps on the Satellite LF with the county lines.
On the Watches/Warnings map? When the map has to cover a larger area, like tonight, the map zooms out and the county borders disappear.
Oh. But I usually see them use the maps zoomed out with the county lines like yesterday.
It all depends on how far the zoom out is. The map would get way too busy if they kept all the county borders there.

Although I haven't seen it, I imagine the maps have to cover a lot due to the vast amount of severe weather tonight.

For EE tonight, the camera angle on the video wall is a bit tighter in; you can no longer see the lights at the top of the wall (at least on my TV).
And now for the 9:30 PM ET segment, they're back to using the wider shot from last night.

On some of the more wordy lower thirds, the TWC logo on the IS LDL covers up some of the letters on the far right part of the lower third.

It appears that there is an issue going on with the SD satellite LF, and they're switching over to the emergency feed at the end of the LF. Can anyone with satellite back me up on that one?

Yep, they're definitely still using SkyTracker for the SD shows. Just now on A&B, they were using SkyTracker, complete with the red zoom in box.

Just now on A&B, they showed a Northeast forecast temperature map, and half the state borders in New England were missing.

The Satellite LF flickered w/radar issues too. Never saw it before. Good thing i had my tuner running at the time.
I've seen that happen before, maybe a year or so ago. It's also worth noting that the base maps for the Thunderstorm/Precipitation forecast on the SD satellite LF have been updated.

At 12:00 AM ET, Rich was talking about how high tech and advanced the new studio is, they zoomed out to a full shot of the studio, and the camera began shaking. They quickly changed shots after that.
