Attached is the ice cream discussion. BTW, did Mark mention he was in Ohio on Saturday?

They played a very extended cut of the tropical music at 7:10 AM ET. In fact it lasted so long, the music looped through almost twice.

Blooper? They just used a storm alert-sounding opener for Dolly at 12:10 AM ET.
Is this the same Storm Alert opener that was played about a week ago (I forget what that one looked like)?

For once, Adam has to come into work on Monday. He will be filling in for Carl, who apparently is going to a concert, but the way he sounded today, he might have to stay at home and rest.

When did he leave? When I tuned to WN at 12:30 today Kevin was solo. I figured he was solo the entire broadcast.
I know Carl was around for at least the first hour; I believe he left around noon eastern.

Carl sounded even worse today during Weekend Now, then it looks like they let him leave early, leaving Kevin do do the rest of the show by himself.

At 1:32 PM ET, they were showing a visible satellite image of Dolly, and the text of the titlebar was totally off the actual titlebar graphic.

I think Mark just said that he had raspberry and chocolate chip ice cream yesterday... interesting combination there.
I wonder if the ice cream caused him to pull the earpiece out of his ear at the beginning of the 5 AM ET hour? :rofl2:
