He probably made it himself. The 3000 had no audible tone. If it did, it would still be with us today.
Actually the 3000 DID have have an audible alarm tone. It was s series of very short beeps. The reason why the FCC had a problem with is is because the alert tone only played the FIRST time a warning was displayed. The FCC wanted the alert tone EVERY time the warning repeated, which the 3000 could not do.

18:18? You wouldn't put AM/PM for military time. Even if you did, 18:18 would be PM. :D :P
Whoops.  :blushing:

Anyway, there was another at 12:28 AM ET.

Dairy Queens have been becoming less common here too... fortunately there's one nearby in Bensalem, but here the only one I know of is the one at a mall (a Dairy Queen/Orange Julius combo), and mall locations don't usually have a full menu like others.
We have a Dairy Queen here inside a family fun center across the street from our mall. I remember years ago we had an Orange Julius in the mall, but they closed. I was pretty upset because I loved to go there.

I stepped on a nail today, and it took a pretty good chunk of skin out of my foot.  Luckily I had a tetnis show about 3 years ago, and it is good for 10 years.
Ouch! That must've hurt like a ... (I'll let you fill in that word :P). Good to hear that you have an updated tetanus shot.
