Those shots look nothing like what Tyler posted a few pages back.

BTW, as for the whole hotel issue; they don't use DirecTV remotes, and without those, I don't think there's going to be any way to make this feature work.

Yeah, I believe the only way that it could work for a hotel-like environment is if they had automatically cue on the 8s, without any user-intervention.

Mike, why does your Windows XP desktop have the old (My Computer, My Documents, etc) icons from Windows 2000?

One of the professors in the Math department here is named "Dr. Kevin Robinson."
And I just discovered that there is a professor here named "Dr. Richard Johnson."

I'm 100% serious.

Right now for the 4 PM ET hour, we've got PM Edition with Weather Center branding. Even Betty and Samantha are calling it "PM Edition."

So, tonight I played $10 on the Mega Millions drawing. For those not familiar, the Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery game that is played on Tuesday and Friday. I'm sure most of you have probably heard of it, especially if you or your parents have ever played the lottery. Anywho, I played $10 on tonight's Mega Millions drawing. Generally, I win $5 or $10 from time to time, but never have I won anything bigger than that. Well tonight I hit for $150! That's more than I've ever hit before!
Woot!  B)

Everything Else TWC / Re: Sun Outage Period Beginning

Here's a nice little site that I found that can calculate when a location will experience a sun outage:

http://www.satellite-calculations.com/SUNcalc/SUNcalc.htm

Just select the satellite (TWC is on AMC 10 or AMC 11), choose a location, then click calculate.

Mike, that was likely not a sun outage. Here are the results from Philadelphia on AMC 10:

At 11:44 AM ET before the lifestyles segment, they used a different Day Planner bump-out that I haven't seen before.

Wow, this makes no sense at all? Is it possible that the schedule is wrong? I mean, we haven't seen "Sunrise Weather" the past few weekends even though it is on most schedules, and there have been a few other schedule errors in the past, too.

Wouldn't doing what we do now take up less space on the forum database, though?
Although I'm no expert on this, I wouldn't think so. It would still be the same number of posts, just split up between two smaller topics as opposed to one huge one.

Then at 1:30 PM ET, the LOT8s sponsorship ad played after the local forecast and before Day Planner resumed.
And they did it again at 5:30 PM ET.

What about just closing the old thread, renaming it something like "Pot Belly Stove Fall/Winter 2007" then opening a new one and calling it "Pot Belly Stove Fall/Winter 2008"? The same format would work with the Front Porch, too.
