There is no narration in the 1 min lfs for the XLs. It's standard for them.

Don't you notice the different flavor though? This is not how the 1 minute was the last tme I was in this headend's area 

I am not completely positive, but I believe that's the way the one-minute XL flavor has always acted when a Weather Bulletin was displayed. The normal one-minute flavor has a 24-Hour Text-based forecast, but since the Weather Bulletin is displayed, there's not enough time for the full text forecast, so the Daypart Forecast is used instead.

Dont ever call your cable provider to get a STAR fixed They wont do squat. Call STAR support

Highly doubt its the graphics card

I called Comcast once about a frozen IntelliStar, and about an hour later they restored the video feed, but the STAR remained down for about a day.

Really? A radar showing continuously for two minutes?

No. He means that the radar is only showing during the :28 and :58 LFs, and it's not showing during the other LFs.

I've been seeing that flavor here as well, Tyler, from 10am-2pm, IIRC.

That was a weird one... at :38 there was no 36-hour forecast. Jeez.

From 10am-2pm eastern the :08, :18, :38, and :48 LFs are only a minute long, and the :08 and :38 LFs don't show the text-based forecasts.

Just saw a flavor here at 8:38 PM ET that started off with the Weather Bulletins screen then had the Current Conditions afterward.

For a few days back in September 2006, they tried making the :18 and :48 LFs only a minute long, but the idea was scrapped almost as soon as it started.

It's worth noting that the top and bottom of the hour segments now run a extra minute longer, until about :07 and :37, respectively (at least that's what happened during the first hour of DP today).

That was strange; It looked like commercials somehow interrupted the local forecast, and then after the commercials, they played the top of the hour Vortex2 bumper.
