Haven't updated this in a while. Back in December, I got my mom's old 2000 Pontiac Grand Am after she got a new car (2006 Pontiac G6).

The Radar Satellite no longer has the time lapse bar. It had continued to have the bar even after the 2007 IS relaunch when they were removed from the local and regional radar.
The time lapse bar will not appear if there is not a full five hours of radar or satellite data present.

It just skipped the CC screen, but had an LDL at the beginning with the Satellite LF just now.
That's a somewhat common occurrence for the 4000. It's been happening for years.

Tonight while I was at work, lightning struck a house right across the street. The storm came directly over us and we saw a few very bright flashes and heard some insanely loud booms. Apparently one of those very close strikes hit a house across the street and started and started a fire. There was smoke coming from the house for a while until the first fire truck finally came and then a bunch more fire trucks arrived and caused one of the main roads in the area to close for over an hour. On my way home, I drove past the house and there was a big burnt-out hole in the roof of the house with a tarp over it.

Has anyone tried the new Mountain Dew Blue?  It is kind of a citrus fruit mix or something (can't remember what it was called).  I tried it for the first time yesterday, and you can actually tell it was mountain-dew ish..unlike LiveWire.
It was pretty good, but nothing will be better than classic MD.
Mountain Dew Voltage. It's pretty good, and it reminds me of Pepsi Blue, which I really liked.

After seeing two orange crawls tonight (one for a Special Weather Statement and one for a Flood Advisory), it seems that orange crawls on the IntelliStar now last 20 minutes instead of 10 minutes as before. Not sure if this also effects yellow Severe Thunderstorm Watch crawls.

Has anyone been getting any dual-feed updates lately? I haven't been getting any since late 2007 and was wondering if the recent layoffs have prevented them from doing dual feed updates.
One of the last ones I remember seeing was on July 30, 2008.
