The lower thirds are good. Better than the WC ones. The opening is OK.

... HEAT INDICES BETWEEN 105 AND 109 DEGREES ARE EXPECTED TODAY...

THE COMBINATION OF VERY WARM TEMPERATURES AND HIGH DEWPOINT TEMPERATURES WILL PRODUCE HEAT INDICES BETWEEN 105 AND 109 DEGREES THIS AFTERNOON. A FEW LOCATIONS OVER THE INLAND PORTIONS OF THE SOUTHERN COASTAL BEND TO THE SOUTHERN BRUSH COUNTRY COULD SEE HEAT INDEX VALUES REACH 110 DEGREES FOR AN HOUR OR TWO.

RESIDENTS WITH OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES PLANNED ARE URGED TO DRINK PLENTY OF WATER... WEAR LIGHT WEIGHT AND LIGHT COLORED CLOTHING... AND TAKE FREQUENT BREAKS FROM THE HEAT. YOUNG CHILDREN AND PETS SHOULD NEVER BE LEFT UNATTENDED IN VEHICLES UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. THIS IS ESPECIALLY TRUE DURING WARM OR HOT WEATHER WHEN CAR INTERIORS CAN REACH LETHAL TEMPERATURES IN A MATTER OF MINUTES.

It does if you come to Duck Centro.
Question: Do you live in El Centro or Duck Centro? I looked up Duck Centro on wikipedia and there was no such article. But sometimes you say El Centro too.
Ana, allow me to take this one:
There is a big duck pond in El Centro, CA, which means that there are a lot of ducks in El Centro, which is why Ana refers to itas 'Duck' Centro. Am I right Ana?
LOL.:rofl2: That's what I first thought too, and I thought Ana was referencing that to the Duck Game in my forum.

Me too! :o  I've heard of El Centro but never Duck Centro.
Same here. I prefer El Centro better.
