Wow, this just ruined my night. I'm honestly feeling very emotional right now seeing this.  Dave Schwartz was perhaps my favorite OCMs at The Weather Channel. My most potent memory of TWC was coming home from school everyday and watching him talk about the weather. It makes me teary because of how confident he was; knowing he'd come back and beat cancer. My thoughts are with him, his loved ones, and all who've been affected by his loss. I'm not sure if The Weather Channel will be the same without him.

RIP Dave Schwartz.

Well, that's probably the question any FiOS customer is asking. I agree with you though. FiOS had no true reason to abruptly replace The Weather Channel. I, for one, actually watched The Weather Channel. But for Verizon to say people can get their weather elsewhere was a horrible "reason" in my opinion.

I, myself have tried to recreate these icons as well. I decided to post the loops in a green screen rather than making a .gif. But I like your loops better since you have more icons. Well done

Thanks for the video. Dave Schwartz is my favorite OCM. I just love his positivity and how he never looks at problems as a problem. It's been a while since I last saw Dave on WCL. I hope he'll make it!

Y'know, I'm kind of curious to know why some units glitch during time change and then other units aren't affected by the time change. Does it depend on the cable headend?
