Programming and Graphics / Storm Stories Sydicated on ABC
« on: August 07, 2008, 09:06:28 PM »
I noticed that last Thursday during a bad thunderstorm, Storm Stories was aired during an episode of General Hospital my grandma was watching, and just 30 minutes ago, I saw the Storm Stories credits w/ TWC logo. Has anyone else seen Storm Stories air outside of TWC before?

Another classic show that's only on Boomerang nowadays is Dexter's Laboratory.

Dexter's Laboratory was one of the favorite shows I watched on CN, the first cartoon I saw on there was Courage the Cowardly Dog, I don't remember the title, but I know it was about the farm being hit by a tornado.

That was amazing! :cool3: I really loved the radar, the animated icons, and the sunlight effect done in the background. Is the icons something you did in AE?

It's not an emulator, but it's a WS4000 icon tribute featuring "Happy Feet" by Steve Oliver.

Enjoy! :D

Here's a WS400 emulator featuring Struttin by Bobby Lyle.

I have been messing around with the ticker for the TCF and I think this is as close to perfect as I can get it with Camstudio. I also noticed that if you set your hardware accelerator from "Full" to "None" and set your color setting from high to low not only will the video record in better quality, but YT will give you the option to play the video in high quality (at least with the last videos I've done this way.)

I don't recall this being a PDS watch  I've been tracking it on NWS, and there was no mention of PDS..

Actually, right when I turned TWC on, Cantore opened by saying "Eduoard has to be preempted to cover current dangerous Chicago storms" :)

The Severe Thunderstorm Watch issued for Northern Indiana was a PDS watch because Jim also said out of the 23 years he's been at TWC he has never seen a PDS out for a Severe Thunderstorm Watch.
