« on: December 31, 2008, 11:37:47 AM »Yeah I was at a friends house last night, and they had the same thing scrolling on their satillite TV. I turn on the TV this morning, and the channel was on VH1, and the same scroll was scrolling. Luckily, I am not affected by this.

On Monday I went to the orthodontist to pick up my new retainer (my other one had broken), and it was VERY tight on my teeth, because I hadn't worn one in 2 weeks. That night I put it in, and it hurt like hell, and it continues to. So, I'm just going to have to wear it for a while to get used to it. But my teeth are SOO tender.
I seeing this scroll now, it's even an article about this on yahoo's homepage at the bottom. IMO I think this is just outrageous.

Weatherscan Discussion / Re: Weatherscan Topic
« on: December 29, 2008, 09:32:15 PM »I'll be posting more clips too since I now have a tunerI should be able to post clips more often than I used to, now that I am able to record my Weatherscan directly with my tuner as opposed to using a VCR. I just have to solve the issue with the audio being jumpy while recording.
I wonder when we'll see new music coming to Weatherscan. They usually come out with new music about every 1-1.5 years, and the current loop has been in use since late November/early December 2007.
I want to see a graphic update, it's been like 3 years now.

I got really interested in TWC in January 2001, I was 8 and the SE was having a big snowstorm. What caught my eye was the XL icons, they look so cartoony to me and the first LF song I heard was "Linus and Lucy" which they played the heck out of it at that time. I also liked the graphics they used then and the Weather Stories/Headlines they did just before the Weekly Planner where they showed where the Jet Stream was and if there would be a disturbance that would travel down it over the next week.They used a green raindrop for a rainstorm and a white snowflake if it was a snowstorm. I also learned a lot of weather facts because of them like what temp. is the freezing point, el nino, la nina etc. I was already curious and interested in the weather and they fueled it even more.

1. Idiot drivers who show no respect for other drivers/predestrians.
2. Crazy mobs that will nail you down to the floor as soon as you walk in a store.
3. Summer weather during Winter.
4. When my mom has no holiday spirit.
5.People making a big deal out of saying Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas.
6.Crime skyrocketing during the holidays.
7. Lack of decent Christmas Specials from years past.
8. People who visit that you can't stand to be around.
9. Dead lights that have been hanging on the roof for a year.
10. Having a wet Christmas for 3 years in a row.
11. Did I forget to mention more idiots?
12. Hipocrits who pretend to be so holy and jolly around the holidays.
