Current version is good, but my "golden age" era of the IntelliStar would be 2005-2006.

I agree with the last part of that sentence, but the current version is good?

I don't like the modified IS icons used on TWC's website or the Desktop Weather program, but the actual IS icons are not that bad, I like the Thunderstorm, Rain/Heavy Rain, and the snow ones the most, I hate the drizzle/showers/light rain ones they still look like light snow at times.

I like the previous version with the sun bg that the XL v3 uses even with the IS icons since they have grown on me except for a couple of them that stills looks ugly. The original version was ok,but it reminded me to much of the XL v2, and the current one is just plain crappy nothing else to it, I really wish they would change the graphics now.

This is a January Update on my WeatherStar4000 |HD| Emulation, this emulator as well as the  XL, IntelliStar, and the 3000/4000 emulations are on hiatis for the time being, I'll start working on them sometime this weekend or later this month.

I recommend recording an extra second onto your videos like I been doing, that way it won't cut off. That's why some of my 4000 emulator vids have the Updating Data screen show up for a millisecond when the video fades out.

There's the Big Creek in Alpharetta,Ga to my north and the Chattahooche River that runs through Atlanta, neither are at flood stage at this time, but they could be with the 4 straight days of rain expected to start tomorrow evening.

The way that this accident happened is no surprise to me because that's how idiots drive around here, but the fact that this careless inconsiderate jerk not only mentally and physically hurt Jeanetta but they could have killed her really burns me up. I can't imagine going through something like that, but I'm very happy to hear that's she's recovering well.

Gradient added to blue templates
Degree sign added to Current Conditions, Daypart Forecast, Extended Forecast, The Week Ahead and the LDL Bar
Faster animation transition between Current Conditions and Current Conditions (8 city OBs)

IntelliStar Emulation Update
Template color changed
Degree signs added Daypart Forecast has font changes
Animation removed from the end of The Week Ahead Segment
Font change made to the Current Conditions (Regional CC) - Likely to change again.

Next Saturday will officially be the 1 year anniversary of the March 14th EF2 Tornado that wrecked havoc through Downtown Atlanta at 9:38pm that night. I will never ever forget this night because of the powerful strengths and sounds of the twister and it's historic nature as being the first tornado to go through the downtown area in weather history.
