It's worth noting that the top and bottom of the hour segments now run a extra minute longer, until about :07 and :37, respectively (at least that's what happened during the first hour of DP today).

So we have 3 minute flavors again like the 4000 had?

Speaking of Almanacs, the one with the Moon Phases has suddenly returned on my IntelliStar since this new flavor lineup started up nationally, I haven't seen it in over a year!

For the past week, my STAR has had new product playlists (the internal name used for what we TWC fans call "flavors") being tested on it. It's not been determined yet whether these changes are final, and a national roll out will occur or not. One of two things may or may not happen tomorrow (Monday) - the playlists will be tested on certain STARs, or they will do a national test. It's really a wait-and-see kind of thing. The biggest changes are outlined below:

-The CC screen no longer starts off each LF. The :08/:38 local starts with the local ob screens.
-When the wx bulletin screen is active, it is the very first screen. Also, this prevents the CC screen from showing during the :18/:48 LF, where the metro CC and regional CC screens are used instead.
-Seeing more of the getaway, air quality, and almanac screens on a regular basis.

Ready... set... discuss!

They have been testing this on the Atlanta IntelliStar since Friday evening right before that Satillite Outage, I have some videos of it, I thought something may have been wrong with my IntelliStar.

Be interesting to see who gets this tomorrow. Im not a fan of seeing less of the CC screen

I'm not a big fan of that happening either.

Here's an update on possible Subtropical Storm Ana. Below are GFS models that show the low, I drew a cone for the track it will be taking from the different computer model runs. The 06z run tries to pull a TS Fay on the SE.

Regional Map and Metro Maps

That metro map to me is ridiculously zoomed in. I never realized the ATL (I only call it that, instead of Atlanta) had so many suburbs. Since when is there a place called mid-town in Atlanta?

Midtown is in the central part (heart) of Downtown, it's where most businesses and housing is. It would have made more sense to just say "Atlanta" instead of "Midtown" and the map being zoomed in like that I'm not sure why they did that since all of those cities are in or around the perimeter of Atlanta, that configuration hasn't changed much since the early IS days.

TWC has been talking about a possible subtropical storm forming next week off the SE coast, it wouldn't surprise me, the first storm has been forming during the past 2 or 3 Mays in a row.

\"Wx Proof" explores the "what ifs" and "could that really happens" of extreme weather conditions. O

Sounds like another show on TWC.

This sounds like a spin-off to ICHT.

I don't leave for school until after 8 so I'm glad I would get to see the first hour.
