Mine has been like that since the Blue LDL beta came out in late May last year, I have Dunwoody and College Park,The first day we got the blue LDL, the wrong HiRAD location was on there, it said Piedmont Park instead of Downtown Atlanta.

Guys, Breaking News if your NBC Station is an O&O (just got this from a local meteorologists blog): NBC, which owns the Weather Channel, is considering a move to replace the local weathercasters on the stations they own with mets from the Weather Channel. NBC owns 10 TV stations in the large cities. This move would save money but sacrifice the local flavor of the weather. Here is what the Executive VP of Programming of NBC said.... "We're examining it. We have to figure it out. We haven't yet. But there is clearly the opportunity to do that. I can tell you we're looking at that opportunity."
This could be the future of local TV weather. Large companies would supply local forecasts for a number of different stations around the country.

I won't have to worry about that w/ the NBC affiliate here, it's owned by Gannett or something like that.

Oh and Mike, the song you posted is "Zephyr" by Don Grusin. Listen to a clip here.

I believe it's a Steve Glotzer song, but I don't know the song title. :dunno:

WeatherStar4000 Emulation - July Update

The video attached below shows what i have done so far today.
Font change (I redowloaded the updated 4000 fonts at twcc)
City obs. changed on Local Obs. screen (Athens & Marietta are the remaining original cities)
New cities are Anniston, Cartersville, Downtown Atlanta, Gainesville, & Peachtree City. (abbreviated as P'chtree City on the emulation)
Ob. site comes from the airport instead of downtown.
LDL obs is more functional than it was before in my previous emulations.

Why are malls so empty these days? Economy? I went to the mall this afternoon and there were very few if any people...I remember seeing many people strolling around before

A lot of retail chains are going out of businesses in malls causing turnouts to be low, I remember seeing an article about malls that are in danger of closing because of the economy.

HiRAD is okay for me. If it's wrong, I just look outside the window to make sure. But I agree with you guys, though.

I do that all the time, there was only one time where the HiRAD CC on my IntelliStar was completely wrong and that was during the March 1st Snowstorm, it said 37° and light rain, but I looked outside and it was moderate snow falling and sticking to the ground, it took about 20 mins. for that to update to snow. The NWS was right though, they said it was 34° and snow.
