Hmm, I COULD be seeing a White Thanksgiving.... It's only like a one in a million chance it will happen, but hey I can only dream....

AFTER SYSTEM PROGGED TO LIFT OUT...STILL SEE ACTIVE PATTERN IN
PLACE WITH LARGE LONG WAVE TROUGHING OVER THE CONUS AND STRONG
MEAN FLOW ACROSS THE SOUTHERN STATES. POTENTIAL FOR ANOTHER SHORT
WAVE MOVING INTO THE SOUTHEAST LATE TUESDAY. ALTHOUGH GFS INDICATING
LESS THAN 100 J/KG MUCAPE...WOULD NOT BE SURPRISED IN THIS PATTERN
IF ISOLD LOW CAPE MDT-HIGH SHEAR SVR STORMS TUE/TUE NIGHT OCCUR...
PARTICULARLY IF SHORT WAVE BECOMES MORE INTENSE. HAVE NOT ADDED
TSRA ATTM. AND ALTHOUGH FCST ONLY GOES OUT UNTIL TUESDAY...12Z
ECMWF DOES SHOW AN INTERESTING /WHITE/ THANKSGIVING FCST. JUST
THOUGHT I WOULD THROW THAT OUT THERE FWIW.

Local Forecast / Re: November 2009 Playlist in effect
« on: November 17, 2009, 08:01:13 PM »Hmm, I have to admit I'm very shocked, I was so sure there wasn't going to be a Nov. playlist, I guess they proved me wrong.I thought I told you about this in my forum.
I still had doubts just because of how long it took, but I can see why since it's being carried over to December.

EDIT: This looks like an ok playlist, I could do w/o "Distance to the Sun" and "Pandemonium" though.

Everything Else TWC / Re: Ray Stagich Leaving Sunrise Weather?
« on: November 14, 2009, 07:23:05 AM »Samantha has grown on me a little. I can stand her now. But Todd, I think he would be a great meteorologist (well..he isn't HORRIBLE)- he just needs better presentation "uhh".. skills.
She isn't as bad as she was the first year she was on, but I still don't think she's all that good, Todd has the same problem Sam had at first, he needs to work on his presentation skills.

Everything Else TWC / Re: General TWC Discussion
« on: November 13, 2009, 04:50:57 PM »The Weather Channel will preempt its Friday night movie in NY, NJ, CT and PA. http://bit.ly/2B23dZ
I'm not surprised they would do that, it makes sense, this Nor'Easter is more important than seeing "Misery" which you can see on practically any movie channel you wanted to anyway.

That production music that's used for the Severe Weather Opener I heard on this show called "Disorder in the Court" on truTV.
