Banned for Eaton County (county immediately to my west, which houses part of Lansing) and Clinton county (immediately to my north, which is the county that the airport is located less than 200 feet into) both got a Winter Weather Advisory, and I didn't. I hate it when that happens!  :club:

Banned because the NWS here did the same thing, they issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the NW surburbs of Atlanta, but not the immediate Atlanta area.

Banned because everyone seems to be ripping off Miss, AL, and Ga big time with this storm, but that's ok because I didn't even expect TX to get snow, let alone us too. Congrats to those who do and I hope they enjoy, it'a rare treat, but if this happens again next December, I'm gonna start to believe this will become a common norm for the GC.  :P

This is the 7 day forecast from The Weather Channel. TWC is trending colder for Saturday and warming up the low for Friday Night which is leading me to believe they think temps will be falling and holding steady into the 30's for Saturday afternoon.

WOW, I'm kinda surprised to see TWC be bold enough to put winter weather in the forecast this far out, they're usually much more conservative.  :o

Here's my take on the color-shaded forecasts shown on TWC.

Hopefully it works out well for you Aaron, November is my favorite month, but it's also been the most boring month in general this year outside of just the weather. Speaking of snow, Jim Cantore seems to be getting excited about the possible winterstorm the SE could see this weekend, I'll monitor it, but I think next week will give us a better chance for snow/ice.

General Discussion / Re: Windows 7 questions
« on: November 29, 2009, 01:53:06 PM »
You can upgrade to Windows 7 from XP on some PCs if you pass the Upgrade Advisor Al mentioned, but it's highly recommended not to do so, it's just better to do a clean install or buy a new PC w/ Windows 7 installed on instead of upgrading it from XP, my Pc with XP failed the upgrade test so I'll most likely to buy a new PC w/ Win7 preinstalled next year.
