Yeah, for all intents and purposes, I am going to assume it is the Bill McDermott song.

I agree with you guys... not crazy about this list at all. Granted, as is the case with most any playlist, there are a few songs I like.

Well my only exception in this Primetime list is Ryan Farish's "Storm Chaser" & Clouds of Heaven" and that Candy Dulfer song (I can't remember the song name off the top of my head). I also like "After the Rain" by Chris Geith and that Jeanne Ricks song (I don't remember that one off the top of my head either).

Hmm.. I don't know why, but last night I had a dream that Stephanie Abrams was giving her last forecast on Your Weather Today (as in..either leaving TWC, or moving to a new show..) .   Is that weird?  haha
lol, I wish that would happen :P

How come you hate Stephanie so much?  :hmm:

So far, I'm not impressed with this month's playlist at all. All the songs I've heard so far just sound terrible. They might grow on me over time, but at the moment I don't like it.

I still haven't heard most of the songs for this month yet, but I have heard most of the Primetime portion and once again I think it's horrible just like the last playlist's primetime portion.

I am completely stumped on this one...
Lansing Intellistar- 1/12/10 1:58 PM EST
I've narrowed it down to 2 songs, I think. Anyone have any ideas what it is? I first thought it was Pink Floyd, then when I realized they are not on this playlist, I thought it was Jim Lum.|

Daytime
Moscow   Bill Mc Dermott   N/ASpirit   Ron Fattorusso   Spirit

I think it's that Bill McDermott song, doesn't really sound like Ron's style.

To me, it's a mix of a southern and British accent.

British?......

Interesting how these playlists are getting successively worse with time... several recent repeats already. "Crimea II" by Bodhi at 6:28 PM EST... which is now becoming "Restless Heart", if you know what I mean.

WTH?  I can already tell this will be at the top #1 as the worst song to play for this month and I haven't even heard half of the playlist yet. I disliked it when it first played two years ago, I loathed it last year, and I'm gonna hate it this month.

I'm probably going to be the only one left in this forum that has never tried Twitter.  I don't think that I'm missing out as having a 140-character limit is a problem for me. :P

I don't use Twitter either and I have no plans to.

I think it's a good and somewhat bad idea, it's good for all the reasons all of you have said, plus you wouldn't have to worry about extreme traffic or panic on the raods as much like what occured with Katrina when they had to turn all lanes in one direction out of New Orleans, but I get a bad feeling that it may cause more people to procrastinate about evacuating and foolishly deciding to ride it out. It's almost the same with tornados, you can get over 30+ minutes of warning time, but people do wait until the last minute to take shelter to see if it's a false alarm or if it will just pass right around them. I did the samething when we got hit by a tornado two years ago. Overall it's a good idea, I just hope noone ignores the extended heeded warnings.

Remember how every playlist in late 2009 was constantly delayed or late?  Well, the trend is your friend here, and I'm expecting more of the same in 2010.  We're just going to have to wait it out now.
You may recall the late 90's when TWC would have quarterly, 3 month playlists (sometimes even longer) which consisted of only 10-12 songs. No dayparts either. At least right now it's not as bad - with 40 songs and different playlists for different parts of the day.

Yeah, but the songs they picked then were decent enough that you wouldn't care that it played for several months, I never liked this playlist since it started in November. If it had of been any other playlist besides this one I wouldn't mind it playing this long. I always mute the volume when the LF comes on or go online to get the forecast.

Does anyone know of any good file storage sites? Zach told me that filefront deletes files after so long, and with file dropper, the links are no good after so long. Even if that wasn't the case, I can't keep all the links like that. Is there a site that I can back up my files to, that won't delete the files, and they are all easily accessable?

I use Windows Skydrive, it lets you store up to 25GB of photos, videos and and audio files , but there's a 50mb limit.
