I was wondering, when there is a weather bulletin out, do they purposely skip over the regional maps and go to the radar? Like today, I'm under a Flood Watch and after showing that it went straight to the radars.

Depending on whether or not there's a local radar and traffic incidents, yes it can happen.

Ok, the local radar being shown is probably why then because I know it didn't do this at the beginning of the month when I was under that Winter Weather Advisory.

Well, I see weather.com has switched over their local forecast pages to the new look...

...yuck. I hate it. Too difficult to navigate (especially with the climatic data and other forecast tabs that used to be so easy to find). The thing I have to say I hate the most about it (besides the animating icons) is the removal of the text based. Now I have to watch the LF to see the details, and I can't get them for other locations now unless I go to them. Now I've asked this question before... and I am going to pose it again: when is TWC going to realize these icons (animated or otherwise) are NOT meant to be on the internet?

huh.....so this is a site update? it's basically the same as before, nothing to write home about. All it looks like they did was move stuff around and animate the icons (which was cheaply done, no matter how anyone feels about them) They could have had me make those rain icons for free out of something like GIMP. Also, I intially thought this update was for the entire site, not just when you enter in a city name to get forecasts.

While Alpena enjoyed a clear and sunny day thanks to a hole in the clouds, we here in Lansing got some more overcast skies in my pants...

I've seen two page weather bulletins on this version and the previous version of the IntelliStar, but I never seen three before.  I also think some of those watches/warnings were unnessecary imo. Like that Freeze Watch on the third page, they were already under two Hard Freeze Watches....

Gotta HATE NBC!!

I am getting pretty aggrivated that they are moving Jay back to 10:35  .  Jay had his time, it is now time for Conan.  I do applaud Conan for his decision to leave the network, though.

I think that was a total punch in the face and in the groins at the sametime. If I was Conan I probably would have done the samething and walked. They're gonna pushed Conan aside and slash his show in half just because their idea for Jay to be on at 10pm wasn't as much of a success as they wanted it to be?  Well that's the big networks for ya.
