A new LDL for my HD IntelliStar, I'm also thinking about changing the graphics to the HD IntelliStar too.

I would take your design over TWC's design hands down.

Ironically, that was exactly what happened. I heard some loud crackles then a huge boom of thunder. My electricity went out for over an hour this morning because of this. Certainly wasn't expecting thunderstorms since I thought the temps were too cold outside.
I know why you got the thunderstorms.  There's a big upper-level low sitting almost directly over you, which means the air is really cooling aloft.  Cooling the air aloft is just as effective as heating the surface to get the instability for thunderstorms to develop.  You also got a big dose of vorticity (rotation) increasing over you from that upper-level low, which helps in forcing the air to rise even if it's not so warm at the surface.

We had a simila etup on Wednesday and Friday, but the lightning and thunder wasn't too intense.

I personally  think you need a break from uploading clips anyways. I think uploading 5 TWC clips per day is overkill imp.
I rarely ever upload that much, and everyone knows I will not have many daze like that in the future. But I have some important videos to upload now, and I can't because I keep getting an error  :censored:

Maybe it's something with the internet broswer your using imp?  :dunno:

Is anyone else having trouble with uploading on youtube? I'm trying to upload a video and it keeps giving me an error message after about 5 seconds.

No.

4000 Warning Crawl Test #3

WeatherStar4000 Emulation - March 12, 2010 4:35pm (Warning Crawl Test)

Test #3

NOTE - All weather data is fake, only the information on the warning crawl is real information. I know the crawl is moving slowly, but it's also smoother than the last two tests on the XL. I'm gonna work on that because I'm still tweaking with the timing. Flood Warning Crawl is from Atlanta(Fulton Co.) in GA.

XL v1 Warning Tone Test #2

WeatherStar XL v1 Warning Tone Test - March 11, 2010 6:30pm

Test #2 - I'm not sure why it took so long for the text to appear like it did, it was set to appear at the same time of the warning tone. I also changed the font for the title bar to the right font from the first test last night.

NOTE - ALL WEATHER DATA IS FAKE, ONLY THE TORNADO WARNING CRAWL WAS REAL (The warning was from a county in Central Florida.)

horrible afternoon lowerthirds...i don't see why they like to make it complicated, just stick to one and modify the colors, seesh.

I don't care for them much either, why black and white? I saw FO and YWT's lowerthirds this morning and I think they look really good.

I am a fan!  As I said earlier in this thread, like most of you, I am not really a fan of the sun icon.  The rain icons I like, even though they do kind of look like sleet.. but thats quite alright.  I know when it is 55 degrees, I am likely to see rain ;).  The new LDL is beautiful!  I like it.  I also like the new title bars and new supers.  I am impressed.
----Edit:  The color of the fog icon looks like it should be haze.  It looks dirty :P

I like the fog icon, it looks very similar to the XL version.  :) Now that I got to see more of the new icons animated I have to agree with Aaron about the cloud icon,  it does animate pretty fast and they seem to have a "glow" to them. It would be nice if the precip ones moved a little faster. I'm interested to see what the sleet icon would look like since the rain icons have a sleet look to them. Also I think having the icons animated on the LDL is a nice touch.
