The Game Room / Re: "In my pants" Game

Best Buy is sold out of PS3 systems for some reason, in my pants. :( Are they still popular, in my pants? :hmm:

Really, imp? I didn't know they were THAT popular, imp.

Popular enough to break the Wii's 4 year streak as the most sold game console imp, part of that is because of the price cut they made for the PS3 making it cheaper than the Wii imp.

It's neat to see Dr. Greg Forbes out in the field w/ the V2 crew. I wonder why he wasn't able to do it last year?

My grandma is looking at Dancing With The Stars and earlier they played "Rockit" by Herbie Hancock & "Popcorn" by Hot Butter played on TWC back in the 1980's.

Everything Else TWC / Re: Long Form Question?
« on: May 10, 2010, 04:25:13 PM »
I don't have a huge problem with it, but NBC seems to have a great talent for milking things dry. I loved watching When Weather Changed History with my family (we all even sat down for the 2nd season premiere back in September 2008), and I always found It Could Happen Tomorrow to be fascinating. For a time, I even started to develop an interest in Storm Stories. I honestly don't mind an hour of longform each night. But is there any point to showing the same episode of the same show 2 or 3 times in one evening? What is wrong with having WWCH Sunday nights, and Storm Stories maybe Saturday nights (or something of the sort)? It seems obvious to me that this is turning off viewers, and interest for the shows has widely gone down. It's also clear to me what shows TWC developed... When Weather Changed History, It Could Happen Tomorrow, Storm Stories... and what NBC did... Sea Tek (a show which I see no relevance to weather whatsoever).

Sea who? When did that show start coming on?

I didn't recognize the title, but after listening to a sample, I vividly remember hearing this song play back then, It would be nice to hear it play on TWC again.

I've been watching TV on my computer through my TV tuner imp, something's wrong with my HDTV.  and here's a d'oh moment for me, I didn't know my TV tuner could work w/o the TV being plugged up if your using your VCR as an output cable source imp.

Local Forecast / Re: Morning Daypart Anniversary
« on: May 09, 2010, 05:41:11 PM »
I'd agree with Aaron on that one. The daytime list is super lengthy. Maybe if they can extend like... one more hour of the morning playlist, It'll be much more even. I really don't mind the repeats. It's called recycling. Besides, it's really not that bad.

Well the repeats aren't bad if they aren't being repeated right into the next playlist when the previous one ran like 3 months, it makes it just as much of a turn off to listen to just like one that's overplayed (ex: "Songbird" and "Let It Rain") You would think those are the only 2 songs that exist from the Primetime playlist. For me I'm mixed on this,  I think I would like it more if it wasn't so short (thanks to WUWA) and the same for the Daytime, it shouldn't end until at least 7 ET at the earliest.

Has anyone ever seen a 1 min LF end w/ the metro map on the IS before? I ran across this video today and it seems really odd.  :noexpression:

WeatherStar4000 HD Emulation - Which One Is Better?

WeatherStar4000 HD Emulation - Which One Is Better?

There are 4 different color schemes to choose from.

Song - Joe Sample - In All My Wildest Dreams (Rainbow Seeker CD version)

There's one problem that's visible here and that's the fonts, I'm not sure what kind to use for this atm. :hmm:

Good Vibrations - The Beach Boys

Thanks, I kinda like it and that's saying a lot since I don't care much for bands.
