Yes, it's the same cut as all the other playlists it was used besides 9/09.

I'm glad it is, That was a horrible cut they used that month.

The rotation is horrendous, too much repetition

It certainly is, there are a lot of songs I still have not heard play on this playlist yet. Maybe if they didn't have so many songs in the playlist or songs repeating in more than one daypart of the playlist it would rotate better.

Choosing my top two:

Morning:
Windjammer - Ryan Farish
Colortones - Ryan Farish

Daytime:
Take Me Away - Bickley Rivera
Wishbone - Physical Therapy

Primetime:
Cliffs of Dover - Eric Johnson
Jessica - The Allman Brothers Band

Overnight:
BB King - The Thrill is Gone
In This Moment - Ryan Farish

Agreed! I love all of Ryan farish's music on this playlist, but number one song on this list is definately Cliffs of Dover. I actually haven't heard Jessica yet this month. I hope it's the September 2007 cut.

I believe it is, it's not the cut from September last year.

Banned because I hate using the Wiimote (Wii controller). Why would it need the stupid batteries unlike the other game controllers? <_<

Banned because they sell chargers so you can recharge your Wii controller even when the battery dies or is dying.

OCMs & Personalities / Re: New OCM- Bryan Norcross

I saw him tonight, he was on. I know him best for talking South Florida through Hurricane Andrew in 1992. He, along with the news and sports anchors were in a safe room off the studio, at WTVJ, channel 4, the nbc affiliate in Miami at that time. I like him.  He said, "friends, here is what I want you to do: go get mattresses and bring them to your safe room and after you get there, stay there." He said something like that.

He's a good hurricane specialist. The next John Hope, maybe?

I find it a little funny you say that because it seems like they are trying to make Dr. Knabb and Bryan Norcross the next Steve Lyons and John Hope.
You mean they are trying to make Dr. Rick Knabb the next Dr. Steve Lyons and Bryan Norcross the next John Hope?

Yes, exactly. That's the feeling I get out it, almost like the feeling I had that they were trying to make Mike and Stephanie a younger version of Heather and Marshall. (Well until Steph ended up having to work with Al on his show. )

How were Carl and Heather able to get from the HD Studio to the Studio desk? Aren't they in different buildings...I guess it's a quick walk over there.
No, it's the same building. The HD set was just an addition.

Hmm...why did I think the HD Studio was a separate building. Sorry.

Anyway, Carl and Heather seemed to be at the "Expert desk" for awhile...wonder why.

Not only is it added to the main building, but it's also built underground because I've heard them mention sometimes how the HD studio is like a basement and they have to walk upstairs to the main building.

Music from both this playlist and Jun/Jul 2010 were playing last night.

They were having problems transiting from the old playlist to the new playlist, it happens every now and then.

56 songs in a single playlist?  Wow, that might be a new record!  I don't recall any of the classic playlists having that many songs.  Please feel free to check me here.
It's actually 53, several of the songs are played in other dayparts like Pan Funk in Daytime and Morning and Diamond Eyes in Daytime and Primetime.

I was counting the songs in total including the ones that repeat in more than one daypart playlist.

56 songs in total?  (including the ones used in more than one daypart) Why are there so many being used this time around? :dunno:

@Mike - I agree with you about this playlist, I'm also glad to see some of Ryan's older music being used.
