Nice thanks!...do you know if "Summer Lovers" by The Rippingtons also played on TWC?

Going by the list posted here on this site, it played in March 2000.

I just thought of another one. Actually show the Wekkly Planner go beyond like two days (precip and temps) They are always rushing it. It's basically serving no purpose now when they do that.

Figure out a way to schedule phone interviews better where there's time to finish them start to end. They always cut people off halfway through their conversation because they ran out of time.

I know this is silly but... just WHY do I have to get all the snow? Frankly, I'm tired of it, and the removal of summer/spring break days... :hammer:

Be happy that the cold the European model was showing two days ago has backed off quite a bit. or else you would think we were living with Santa Claus.  :P

From Jan 25th (12z runs)

Just to throw some numbers around at what it was showing from WED/THU next week.BTW I believe these were highs...not completely sure.
Atlanta, GA 7 degrees (Wed) -4 degrees (Thu)
Minneapolis, MN -15 degrees/ -8 degrees
Tampa, FL 50 degrees/ 21 degrees
NE WVA area -4 degrees/ -18 degrees

Just keep in mind that the South is projected by the Farmer's Almanac to get anywhere from 15-20 inches of snow. (EDIT: Can't find a source that says that. Just "above average snowfall in South." No actual numbers.) Makes you wonder what the Northeast might get.

Wait, you don't have a source for this? How are you getting the idea of 15-20 inches of snow in the South if you don't have a source? I looked on the Farmer's Almanac site and I didn't see anything like this on there unless I overlooked it.

Pat Metheny (most of the songs from him that played in the early 00's like "The Awakening", "Facing West", "Praise", etc.)
Peter White
Eddie Reasoner (Coriolis Effect)
Pieces of A Dream
The Rippingtons
Wayne Gerard
Brain Hughes

I have more, but these are the ones I thought of off the top of my head atm.

so many promises...so little action <_<

How can you get any action when there was a lack of bipartsmanship on everything from how to handle jobs, education, healthcare, etc. The past two years have been nothing but a dramatic battle of the left wing vs the right with the media standing right there sensationalizing it to the extreme. Headaches on top of headaches.  :itsok: Personally neither party has a clear cut solution on how to fix anything, that's why should be trying to collaborate together instead of wasting time destroying the other party as much as humanly possible. Did you see how much money was wasted on campaigning last year? No wonder were still in the crapper.

I have to say I'm a little addicted to that song, lol. "Sierra" or "Axiom" is a great song.

Also, what's this one?

I don't know if I'm getting the snow, the ice, the sleet, or the rain next week right about now. Maybe I'll know once the kitchen sinks falls out of the sky.

General Weather Chat / Re: What's the weather in your area?

Here's a good one for everyone.  Last night, we here in Grand Forks bottomed out at -30° (WC of about -45°).  As for International Falls, they were a bit colder.  Take a look.

I heard it bottomed out around -44° in International Falls. That's BRUTALLY FRIGID! Not even talking about wind chills! :brr: :brr:

Did this song actually play on TWC before? I've been curious about who the artist is. :dunno:

Yep, in 1990. It's "Wild Cosmos" by Harry Miller.

Thanks!

Thanks to Donovan for that link for the maps he was using for his artwork. I'm using them here for the time being.

Also I moved the time further over.
