Why is everyone so obsessed with the end of the world anyway?  I'm a Christian, but I believe that God has full control over it.  None of us know when it'll happen.  Besides, shouldn't we all be focusing on today and how to make the world a little better for all of us?  That's at least what I was taught to believe.

There's always going to be a moron or two that falls for that load of crap. All I can do sit back and chuckle about it. We've heard these doomsday theories dozens of times and people still fall for them.

Wow, after what seems like ages, TWC has finally updated the look of its 10-day forecast on weather.com!! The information is now in columns instead of rows, and it looks a lot like the 5-day forecast.

It's been going back and forth between the old and new design all week. It's must of been something wrong with it at first for it to be doing that.

It's disappointing ABC cancelled Detroit 187, it had a lot of potential. Maybe it will be lucky enough to be picked up by a cable network like Southland was. This brings me to another question/problem. What's considered good ratings for network television these days? I never thought a consistent flow of 8 or 9 million people watching weekly is bad, but apparently it is.

I'm not sure if this is on all IntelliStars or some kind of experiment, but there is another new flavor I saw during the 4pm hour at 4:08 and 4:38, the moon data almanac is being used and the temperature data almanac is being used at :28 and :58. I haven't seen the moon data since June 2009. I actually like the idea of both versions being used.

Very interesting. I remember this idea had been floating around since at least 2006, so it's neat to see if they're going to implement it.

This is how it's set up on mine: Current Conditions > Regional/Local Doppler Radar > Moon Data Almanac > Metro Forecast > Text Forecast > The Week Ahead

I am sure that if she HAD to be on bed rest, she would not have been working.  We cannot jump to conclusions and say TWC made her work.  I am sure that if Jen was uncomfortable working, TWC would have let her take some time off. 

Generally the only time you are put onto bedrest is if there is complications with the pregnancy.

As a sidenote, Jen is a beautiful pregnant woman, just saying.

I wasn't saying she should be completely bedridden, I meant that I felt she should have been working at a later time instead of so early in the morning that's all. Uncomfortable or not, I know she had to be a little exhausted. Also I agree, she was indeed a beautiful pregnant woman.

I went through all the pages here before creating this (kinda surprised she doesn't have a thread) and I was wondering if anyone remembers when Jen went on maternity leave and what month did she return? I know she was back by September 2009 because I have a clip of her w/ Scott Williams on First Outlook during the historic flooding that took place in GA that month. I also have this clip of her from June 3, 2009 doing the Weekly Planner where it's pretty obvious she's expecting VERY soon. Also in retrospect, I'm a little annoyed that they had her working from 4-7am on FO so close to her maternity leave, she should have been in bed! I think they should have briefly moved her to Day planner of PM Edition until she left on maternity leave instead of having her up so early in the morning. (Ok, end rant  )

anyways.... I noticed that V and The Event are on the list of cancellations. My friends love those shows and they are going to be pretty upset when I tell them that. Too many shows are getting cancelled these days. Maybe it's time for writers to think up of new and better ideas.

There's not much of any new ideas to feed off of. It seems like everything has been done time and time again.
