As I have said before, I absolutely hate how the Weather Center Live Opener looks, so I decided to attempt making my own version. This is just a rough draft. The final draft will be in video form.

IntelliSTAR Emulation - June 23, 2011

IntelliSTAR Emulation - June 23, 2011

LDL, Daily Planner and The Week Ahead is incomplete.

Song: Pieces of a Dream - RU Ready? (I chose this song since it was one I remember vividly from the summer of 2004, it instantly became one of my favorites to hear. )

There is a such thing as "dual feed".

Evan has notified me that its not being deployed.. thats lovely <_<

How does this dual feed work?

Sorta like the live weather updates are now, except longer and only the area affected by severe weather would see it while everyone else is watching long form programming. Speaking of dual feed, would this have been a severe wx update on a dual feed? I put in the video description that it was, but I'm not too sure. If so, this is the last time I've seen it.

A couple of weeks ago I mentioned that the american computer model GFS was showing a tropical disturbance around the latter end of this month and much to my surprise it's still there! It's been off and on from model run to run and unfortunately it seems to be gone on the runs today since the 00z last night :hmm:, but since the idea has been hinted this long I believe it'll be back again. Even better if there's not a tropical storm Arlene out of this, the Southeast will be getting drenched as we shift into a stormier weather pattern meaning some much needed drought relief. I'm hoping we do get something tropical though, it's a much quicker drought relief than scattered afternoon thunderstorms.

IntelliSTAR v2 Emulation - Premiere Elements 8.0 Project
TOP STORY: The Sunshine State or The Smokey Oppressive Heat Killing State?

IntelliSTAR v2 Emulation - Premiere Elements 8.0 Project

This is based off of the second graphical version of the IntelliStar (my favorite version) which debuted in August 2005 (TWC's relaunch) and was upgraded once again graphically in October 2007.

Song - Doug Markley - The Wind In Her Hair
Beta Testing City - Jacksonville, FL (I chose Jacksonville because of the very interesting weather taking place there this morning and throughout the afternoon: SMOKEY CONDITIONS, also they are under a Dense Smoke Advisory o_O I never knew such a thing existed.

Local Forecast Flavor - DE (1 minute)

ALL WEATHER DATA WAS ACCURATE AS OF 9:28 AM (CURRENT CONDITIONS) AND 11:28AM (LOCAL FORECAST).

Wisdom teeth surgery isn't bad; I know because I just got it. Braces will be more annoying, but they are totally worth it.

I am developing an under bite again, but my teeth still look pretty straight. What's the big deal with an under bite anyway? As long as it's not horrid, I don't why it's that bad. Wait, or is that overbite? Ugh. I have the one that means your top teeth are farther forward than your bottom teeth.

I think that's an overbite Christina, but I'm not too sure either.

Yes, Patrick it did help.  Well the first line I thought was coming for us went well east into the Carolinas, but the second one is entering NW GA now and out of nowhere storms start firing immediately around Atlanta. Gotta love those pop up storms.

General Weather Chat / Re: La Nina Bows Out
« on: June 18, 2011, 02:33:36 PM »
I rather have a El Nino over a La Nina any day. The last La Nina is partly to blame for our 3 year drought we were stuck in. The only good thing that came out of this La Nina is that I saw my 4th biggest snowstorm this past winter. We usually don't see a lot of snowfall during La Ninas so to see nearly 10 inches in total was quite impressive. We also saw plenty of severe weather, but that's not something I'm particularly happy about because of the enormous fatalities we saw from it.
