How long has the little note underneath the forecast conditions for the 7-day outlook (as an example, they had a little note about hurricane conditions possible in the days before Hurricane Irene hit and the day where the conditions were possible had a red rectangle around it) been there? It just suddenly appeared like a few weeks ago.

About 6 weeks.

Some more...

I didn't mention this last night, but the rounded rectangle behind the logo is supposed to make it appear like the logo is showing on a TV set. Well sorta... :P

S7ven Large - Euge Groove (Steve Grove) @ :38

I thought that sounded familiar, didn't LOT8s use that on a test playlist of his?

Texas may as well give up on any chances of rain from these tropical systems. Lee went the wrong direction, and Nate looks like no threat to the U.S. at this point (except maybe Brownsville). Here is the projected path for Nate, as of the 4 PM CDT advisory.

That's yet to be determined if you ask me. It's still a 50/50 shot it will still hit the US. As always timing is the key, the same scenario goes for Maria as well.

Dave Koz's version of Linus and Lucy I love his jazzy twist on it.

IntelliStar - December 18, 2009 7:28am

I dubbed it into this video since the original Linus and Lucy by Vince Guaraldi would be muted.

There's something I don't understand. Why is it that the phrase "Near record high/low temperatures expected" never shows up on my IntelliStar? I always see the record low/high screen, but never that phrase on the text local forecast. For example TWC is forecasting 55 tonight which would break the record low of 56 set back in 1984, I'm seeing that record low screen, but I'm not seeing that phrase being used on the text forecast. I've seen it on other IntelliStars.

My Projected Path for TD 14 - I believe FL is the highest threat for a landfall atm. Of course it's subject to change that's why the SE coast is highlighted in red.

Also, my placement of TD 14 is an estimate. I'll have to find a blank map w/ coordinates because that would help.

Slightly further north days 4 to 5

I see four possible scenarios with this right now:
1. It could travel the NHC track and head somewhere on the SE coast.
2. Same as above, but moves fast enough to turn north quicker sending it OTS.
3. Could hit E. Coast of FL.
4. Travel south and west enough to head into the GOM.
